Ever since October 1977 the Silver Slipper Club has been home to ballroom and latin american dancing, preserving its traditions whilst many other dance crazes have come and gone.

Ron Sykes is Chairman of the club which holds monthly dances at the Rover Sports and Social Club in Cowley. Ron and his wife Winnie have been dancing for over 20 years.
