Over the next 10 weeks BBC Radio York will be covering a range of topics designed to help you cope with the financial demands we're facing. You will be able to listen to experts and hear real-life stories in either Russell Walker's Morning programme (9am to 12pm) or in Jonathan Cowap's Lunchtime Programme (12pm to 2pm). ![]() Look after those pounds. Russell Walker will look at life after redundancy. Monday 2 March: How easy is it to barter for goods and services? What opportunities are there to make money? Jonathan Cowap will investigate. Monday 9 March: Russell Walker takes a look at insurance. Is cheapest always best? Are you sure you're properly covered? Monday 16 March: How do you teach your children to manage money? Jonathan Cowap will look at the best ways of educating youngsters about money - from savings to spending wisely. Monday 23 March: Have you got a pension plan? Russell Walker will investigate how to ensure your finances are all in place for retirement.
