Sing like a Canary for band video

London band Dogs are asking Norwich City fans to sing like true Canaries at their Waterfront gig in the city on Monday 26 September while the cameras roll for their new video.

Norwich fans will have a chance to show off their passion for the club on a music video for indie band Dogs.

The five-piece have followed Delia Smith's cry of 'Let's be havin' you' to Canary diehards.

Dogs want fans to come dressed in their beloved green and yellow T-shirts and scarves for their gig at Norwich's Waterfront venue.

The London-based band will be flanked by cameras filming clips for their new video of next single Tarred And Feathered.

Colourful Canary fans could end up being beamed into people's homes as part of the promo, which will support the record's release on 14 November 2005.

Members of the Yellow Army will be immortalised on film hanging out with the band on the tour bus, meeting them back stage and lining the front row at Monday's gig.

Dogs recently tingled Jonathan Ross' eardrums after being invited to perform on his BBC Radio 2 show and they will be warming up for Paul Weller on his northern tour dates this winter.

Norwich City enthusiasts are due to feature on the group's video along with footie fans from Manchester, Liverpool and London among other places on their tour stops.

Dogs are sharing the bill in Norwich with local band The Pistolas, who recently clinched the Best Rock and Best Live Band awards at the Diesel-U-Music Awards.

Ipswich's King Billy And The Marvelous will headline the gig, which has been arranged as part of the Norwich Fringe Festival.

Canary fans who would like to take part in the video have to apply for one of 20 pairs of tickets through Dogs' website.
