How bona to vada some dolly new eeks! The West End smash hit, Round The Horne - Revisited, comes to Norwich as part of it's national tour. Written by Brian Cooke, the show is based on the original radio scripts he wrote with Barry Took, Marty Feldman and Johnnie Mortimer. In it's heyday in the late '60s, Round The Horne attracted an audience of 15 million listeners. Each Sunday they tuned in to enjoy the latest adventures of Julian and Sandy, Rambling Syd Rumpo and the booming Daphne Whitethigh. The stage show, at the Norwich Theatre Royal from Thursday 25 - Saturday 27 November, 2004 - presents two lives episodes of the series that include some new sketches from Julian and Sandy, ageing juvenile Binkie Hucabuck and J. Peasmold Gruntfuttock. To mark the show's visit to the county, we've three CDs to give away featuring episodes from the original series starring Kenneth Williams, Hugh Paddick, Betty Marsden, Bill Pertwee and Kenneth Horne. |
