When boredom strikes, you might turn to arts and crafts, but one bored man in Peterborough got crafty in a BIG way.
Steve Wainwright loves DIY projects, and so when he retired (which is when you stop working), he decided to create massive versions of everyday household objects.

Do you think he uses the big tape measure to see how big everything else is?
"Once retired you can only cook and clean for so many hours," said Wainwright, 62, who lives with his wife in Peterborough and has a background in engineering and electrics.
His oversized objects, made from wood, metal and plastic, have cost him about £2,500 so far, and can take up to two weeks to make.

The pencil is Steve's favourite
Steve's sold some of them, but mostly he just enjoys making them as a hobby.
His favourite is the big HB 2 pencil.

His wife, Cat, is a fan of his creations and was first in line for the massive peg
His wife Cat Thompson said he liked that the crafts kept her husband busy, as well as "keeping him out of mischief".
What item do you think he should make next? Let us know in the comments!
