Louise Mason

Family Focus

The story of a mother's fight to be reunited with her children.

Louise Mason's two children were taken into care when she was accused of deliberately harming her four week old baby.

In 2004 she was cleared of all charges, but the children have still not been returned to her.

She has written a book about her experiences and she spoke to Sarah Travers at her home in Londonderry.

Louise says she felt "numb" when her children were taken from her. You can hear more on her story in an extended interview.

Sarah also spoke at length to Louise's solicitor, Carmel McGilloway, about the legal fight to clear her name.
