Tyrone Hospital

Tyrone County Hospital

After a hundred and ten years - the Tyrone County Hospital will no longer treat emergency cases in Omagh.

Patients now needing to be admitted to hospital will be taken to Enniskillen or Londonderry.

And nursing staff from Omagh are being transferred too - taken by bus each day to work at the Erne or Altnagelvin.

Many are upset at the way they have been treated.

Our reporter in the West Julian Fowler reports from Omagh.
