An artist's impression of the redevelopment of Redcar's Town Hall Square
An exhibition on the proposed multi-million pound redevelopment of a Teesside town has been attended by hundreds of residents and traders.
The £31m plans for Redcar include new leisure, business support and community facilities.
Redcar and Cleveland council said it would create and safeguard 260 jobs.
A public consultation is running until 14 February and an outline planning application will be submitted later in the year.
The three-day exhibition at the town's central library attracted more than 550 visitors.
Councillor Sheelagh Clarke cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism, said: "I am delighted that so many people attended the exhibition event highlighting the level of interest.
"The proposals will create a real asset for the town and provide residents and visitors with fantastic new facilities."
