The beach huts will be placed on the promenade at Royal Sands
The first soon-to-be installed Weston-super-Mare beach hut has been sold in an online auction for £2,650.
A North Somerset Council spokesman said 23 people made bids on eBay for the one-year lease on the hut.
The unfurnished huts, all in pastel shades of blue, green and lilac, will be situated on the promenade at Royal Sands from next month.
A further 23 leases will be auctioned off every day, external over the next few weeks, beginning on Monday.
