More than 6,500 patients will have to find another doctor when a Bridlington GP practice closes at the end of the year.
Field House Surgery on Victoria Road will end its contract with the NHS on 31 December.
One Medical Group, which runs the practice, said it could no longer "financially subsidise the service".
NHS England said it was "exploring the options to bring in a new service provider at the practice".

Dr Krishna Kasaraneni, from the Humberside Group of Local Medical Committees, which represents GPs in the region, said towns like Bridlington were facing a "perfect storm" in providing health services.
He said there were concerns the closure would further stretch GP services in the seaside resort.
"The funding isn't enough to maintain a sustained high level quality of care," he said.
"There isn't the workforce to sustain general practice up and down the country, particularly in places like Bridlington. Whilst the population is getting older and living with more chronic health conditions than ever before."
In a statement, Heather Marsh, from NHS England said: "We want to reassure patients that services will be maintained and no one will go without GP services after the present provider has left the practice.
"We will keep patients informed of progress."
