Tyler West hosts new Race Across the World: The Detour video podcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds

Broadcaster, DJ and Celebrity Race Across the World contestant Tyler West will host the new video podcast Race Across the World: The Detour. The podcast will also feature series four winner Alfie Watts, sharing his top travel tips and hacks.

Race Across the World: The Detour will be available on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds immediately after the new series airs. The weekly video podcast will be the TV show’s younger, wilder sibling, charting the ups and downs of the new series.

Each week the podcast will welcome guests from travel-savvy creators, to comedians and celebrity fans of the show, as they dissect destinations, swap tales of adventure, and celebrate the real life stories and unforgettable journeys of Race Across the World.

The new podcast kicks off tonight with guests including Kola Bokinni and Molly Rainford, and Yinka Bokinni joining for a bonus episode on BBC Sounds.

Race Across the World: The Detour will be available weekly on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds from Thursday 2 April, straight after the TV episode airs.
