It’s the show that has the nation hooked. With a star-studded cast, epic missions, unforgettable twists and edge of your seat cliffhangers, audiences have remained faithful as the hotly anticipated return of The Celebrity Traitors has seen an incredible 15.7m viewers for the first episode and 15.2m for the second episode after 7 days.

The launch episode for this series has already surpassed therecord breaking28-day figure for The Celebrity Traitors series 1 opener (14.8m) after just 7 days making it the biggest Traitors launch yet across both celebrity and non-celebrity versions. It is also the biggest launch episode of any series across the entire market, scripted or non-scripted, since at least 2022.

Across the first two episodes, over half of viewing came through iPlayer (58%) at 8.9m with 3.1m viewers aged 16-34 making up a fifth of the audience to the launch recording its biggest volume for younger audiences to date.

Made by Studio Lambert Scotland, the series kicked off with a bang as host Claudia Winkleman welcomed 21 famous faces to The Traitors castle to play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust.

The series concludes on Friday 30 October at 8pm on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.

The celebrities have been playing for the chance to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities, but will the Faithful banish all the Traitors to secure victory, or will the Traitors manage to deceive until the bitter end?
