MasterChef 2026 winner crowned
A new culinary champion was named after a thrilling final

After seven weeks of competition the winner of MasterChef 2026 has been crowned.
Jhane, 29, from North London triumphed in the final showdown by impressing the judges with her bold flavours and confident food identity drawn from the family parties she grew up with.
"I am a MasterChef champion! Those words feel so funny coming out of my mouth, but I am ecstatic, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been happier. It has been the journey of a lifetime, being part of this incredible show, and I can't wait for all the exciting things that are coming next." Jhane says. "I hope this trophy shows that if you go after your dreams, it might just pay off."

The final episode saw Jhane go head-to-head with fellow finalists Kristen and Matt in a high-pressure kitchen battle, with the trophy awarded after an exceptional finale.
Judges Anna and Grace chose the three cooks for a reason, but to get their hands on the trophy, they had to pull out every stop imaginable, and a few more for good measure. The judges wanted each of them to prepare their best three courses possible in three hours. The plates needed to be technically perfect in terms of flavour profiles and execution and crucially, had to show progression beyond anything served to date.
Anna and Grace had the enviable task of sampling all nine dishes before deciding which cook would take the title.
