The Active Award

This is awarded to an individual or group of people who have used physical activity or sport as a way of improving the lives of those in their community.

Nominations are now open and will close on Tuesday 31 March at 5pm.

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category, across each BBC radio station. Click here for full award rules and our privacy notice.

Make a Difference Award ceremonies will take place across the UK from September 2026.
