Trentham Live returns for a fifth year, bringing four nights of live music to the historic lakeside setting at Trentham Gardens. The line-up spans generations, with The Fratellis and The Subways opening the festival on Thursday, Madness and The Coral on Friday, Five and The Wanted 2.0 on Saturday, and The Human League headlining Sunday, supported by Altered Images and Blancmange. For anyone who hasn't been, Trentham Gardens is part of the wider Trentham Estate, a historic estate dating back centuries and now home to its famous Italian Gardens, lake, woodlands and outdoor events. Trentham Live makes the most of that setting, with the concerts taking place against the backdrop of the lake.

Just So is returning after a year away, transforming the Rode Hall Estate into a weekend of music, theatre, storytelling and outdoor adventure for families. There’s a new music stage called The Shindig, with Hyde Family Jam bringing pop covers with a folk twist on Friday, gypsy funk band Klonk headlining Saturday, and King Zepha bringing ska, rocksteady, soul and jazz influences to the festival on Sunday night. There’s also live music around the campfire, alongside circus, dance, comedy, workshops and the festival’s famous Carnival of the Animals. The festival was created by not-for-profit arts organisation Wild Rumpus and has been running since 2009, bringing families together to experience the arts in the woodland around Rode Hall.

Cheshire Fest is heading to Tatton Park for the first time, bringing a full day of live music, DJs, electronic sounds and festival atmosphere to the Cheshire countryside. The line-up is headlined by Freemasons, the dance production duo behind chart hits including Uninvited and Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) with Sophie Ellis-Bextor. There are two main music areas, including the new Arc Stage set against Tatton Park's ancient woodland and the Big Top Dance Tent, alongside street food, bars and social spaces.

Creamfields returns to Daresbury in Cheshire for four days over the August Bank Holiday weekend, celebrating 20 years at its iconic home. The dance music giant has another huge line-up, with Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Disclosure, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Sonny Fodera, Becky Hill, Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Gorgon City, Faithless, Carl Cox, CamelPhat, Dom Dolla, Andy C, Chase & Status, MK, Pete Tong, Ferry Corsten, Duke Dumont, Ewan McVicar and Shy FX & MC Rage all heading to the festival. There's also Amelie Lens, Patrick Topping, Hedex, Hybrid Minds, Koven, Sigma, Angerfist, Coone, Billy Gillies and Paul Oakenfold among the hundreds of artists across the festival's stages. Creamfields runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August, with more than 80,000 people expected to descend on Daresbury for one of the biggest weekends in the electronic music calendar.
