Get involved in a the BBC's RaW Reading and writing initiative. It's a chance for the family to experience learning together. Perhaps as parents or grandparents enjoying that special family time. The nice thing about the stories you will write is that they can be specific to your family. So, you can use the names of your children as the main characters - even the dog can be in the story! Your characters can live in the same place as the children, know the same people or have the same interests. It will be an extra special gift that the child can keep forever. It would be nice to look back on it in in five or ten years - a story that was written and recorded just for your son or daughter! Need a bit more help? | | Helena Pielichaty |
