Adrian says: "I am a Leeds based photography enthusiast, specialising mainly in landscape and architectural work. I have been interested in the subject for many years, though it's only since the dawn of digital photography that I've been able to afford to experiment, learn and finally capture the images that I have always wanted. "I've owned two Digital SLRs, my current model is a Canon 10D which allows me complete creative control over every shot, though it can be switched to full automatic if you need it - useful at parties and the like. The biggest risk with DSLRs is the desire to buy better and more expensive lenses though, so be warned...! "This gallery contains a selection of images West Yorkshire, from reservoirs such as Swinsty near Otley and Scammonden by the M62, to the recent canal side housing developments in the heart of the city. "I see photography as a reason to explore the area I live in, so many times I will have walked down a city centre street, or driven down a country road and completely missed an outstanding scene, only to see it the next time I'm pass. "Areas can look totally different from winter to summer, day to night, sunny days to rainy days, so it always pays to revisit and explore places. Even the mundane can look striking in the right light. "Hopefully locals will recognise most of the places in these shots, though they may well be from a different viewpoint."
