The night is young! We can learn four phrases with 'young'.
Let's start with the night is young. We use it to say that it's still early and there's plenty of time to have fun.
It's exciting, isn't it? The night is still young and there's so much we can do.
Sometimes organisations might say that they need some young blood. They haven't been watching too many horror films – they just want new people with new ideas.
Unless we appoint some young blood, we're going to keep making the same old mistakes.
Whatever your age, you might feel young at heart. It means that you feel, and maybe act, younger than you actually are.
He's young at heart – he's always trying to enjoy himself.
Some people are the opposite – mature for their age. We can say they have or are an old head on young shoulders.
She's a great manager. She's an old head on young shoulders.
