The Tarbert Breathing Place throws open its doors on Sunday 7 June from 1200 at the White Shore. Open to everyone, visit the Breathing Place on the north side of the harbour which is accessible from Garvel car park.

There is a free ferry service across to the White Shore from Tarbert Yacht Club; meet at the club building at Battery Point at 1200 sharp.

See the new bird hide and do some bird watching. Walk along the newly built path through beautiful woodland. Help put up bat boxes and learn about bats. Pick up the self-guided leaflet and discover the beautiful area. Barbecue-cooking facilities will be provided so you can bring your food.

The White Shore Breathing Place is a partnership with Tarbert Academy. Pupils compiled a self-guided leaflet which will be available on the day and built bat boxes which will be put up on the day.
