One of the Barbican artists-in-residence this season, Degun is rewriting the rules of the sitar, finding a bold new language that speaks across continents and centuries.
His second sitar concerto continues his ground breaking work redefining the boundaries of Indian classical music and Western symphonic tradition, masterfully brought to life with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
