We Could Be Astronauts
We Could Be Astronauts
Sat 7 Jul 2012 BBC Introducing Stage
York rock that's out of this world

York pop punk rockers We Could Be Astronauts were formed from the remains of two bands, Hijak Oscar and Idle Jack & The Big Sleep. The fusion seems to have been a successful one with the band melting more than a few faces with their fast-paced tracks that carry a classic metal sound.

Tracks like The Catastrophist (a crowd favourite) and Look Frank! It's A Toaster (yes, a truly amazing track title) are full of fire and drive, the perfect ingredients to stir up quite a commotion in a small corner of T in the Park.
