Pupils from St Pius X School in Chelmsford spent a morning bulb planting on our Springwatch garden.  Since opening its doors in Nov 2006 hundreds of birds and insects made their homes on the reserve.  Volunteers helped to transform a patch of land Chelmsford into a haven for wildlife and people.  Snapped a photo that shows Spring has arrived? As the weather warms up send us your photos.  Now is the time to see the snowdrops at their best. We've been to Easton Lodge to admire them.  There are only a few ancient landscapes left in London and the RSPB reserve is one of them.  Take a look at our picture gallery of one of the biggest visitor attractions in Essex.
