BBC Essex: Be part of it

BBC Essex is proud to broadcast in Essex, for Essex and about Essex. To celebrate this, the presenters are getting out of the studio and along to a town near you. Come along and meet them. 'Be Part of It' starts on Monday, 22, June.

It's a chance to meet your favourite presenters and find out more about BBC Essex.

'Be Part Of It' sees BBC Essex out and about, starting with Drivetime's John Hayes at Chelmsford Cricket Ground on Monday, 22, June.

BBC Essex Editor, Gerald Main, says: "We're proud to broadcast live in Essex, for Essex, about Essex and we're celebrating by taking our shows out on the road."

Et, Ray and Sadie will be out and about

During the week, Etholle George will be in Chelmsford High Street, Steve Scruton will be at Alton's Garden Centre near Basildon and Ken Crowther will be at the Colchester Food & Drink Festival and Rose Show.

On Thursday, 2, July join Dave Monk and the team in Southend High Street and on Saturday, 11, July meet Sadie Nine and her "Loud Women" at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon.

Fri, 26, June - 2pm to 4pm

Steve Scruton with the Afternoon Show LIVE from the Alton Garden Centre near Basildon. Including live gardening advice from Gardening Plus presenter, Ken Crowther.

Sat, 27, June - 9am to 12pm

Ken Crowther with Gardening Plus LIVE at the Colchester Food and Drink Festival and Rose Show, Lower Castle Park, Colchester. Including a Gardeners' Question Time with expert John Clowes.

Thurs, 2, July - 9am to 12pm

Dave Monk LIVE in Southend High Street (outside Victoria Plaza). Including the BBC Essex Helpline with Chris Penhall.

Sat, 11, July - 12pm to 2pm

Sadie Nine's Loud Women LIVE at the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon. Also there, Tim Gillett from Pirate BBC Essex and Mike Bromfield from BBC Essex Introducing.
