We made a Breathing PlaceOn Sunday 8th June, BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's SWAT team transformed the grounds of Hillfields Young People's Centre. Follow the site's progress on this page... You braved the litter to break up tough ground and added compost, wild flowers, shrubs, a tree and even some vegetables for the after-school clubs to tend! ![]() Hillfields Young People's Centre You installed nest and bat boxes in the living trees surrounding the centre, helped children put together their own boxes to take home, and carved a dead tree into a stunning sculpture. You re-painted the centre wall with a nature-inspired mural, planted a bog garden to attract moist-loving wildlife and put together planters for either side of the centre's entrance, for maximum Breathing Places impact for those entering the building!
