It's more than likely that director John Henderson was occasionally referred to as 'Commander' while on set.
John's first directing job was for Spitting Image which won him a BAFTA. John's other TV credits include the multi award winning series The Borrowers and the stylish comedy How Do You Want Me? starring Dylan Moran.
John has also directed several feature films including Loch Ness, Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis and Two Men Went to War. He also co-wrote the feature film Greyfriars Bobby, released in 2006.
