Colin & Fergus

What is your show all about?

Fergus: It's about Colin and Fergus and Colin and Fergus are us. We are two young men; we could be brothers, we could be lovers. No one really knows and therein lies the rub.
Colin: ...and we do sketches.
Fergus: Mmm.

Where and when can we see it?

The Hut (Pleasence Courtyard) 6.30pm. Every day except 17th Aug.

Do you love Edinburgh or is it a chore?

Fergus: To us Edinburgh is mythical beast which we intend to seduce.
Colin: What Fergus is trying to say is that we've never been there before as a double act but we are both very excited.

What's the best thing you've ever seen on the fringe?

Colin: Simon Munnery (League Against Tedium)
Fergus: I've never been.

What's the worst thing you've ever seen on the fringe?

Colin: A one man show about the inventor of nylon. I actually fell asleep.
Fergus: Again, not applicable.

What's the most curious thing that's happened to you in Edinburgh?

Colin: Nothing particularly curious happens to you when you're 15 and there with a youth theatre group from Nottingham. I've only been there once.
Fergus: I REALLY haven't been.

If you could persuade one VIP to come to your show who would it be? Why?

Fergus: Will Self (probably the cleverest man on the planet) because I'd really like to pick his brains.
Colin: Abi Titmuss...

How will you spend the other 23 hours of the show?

Colin: Um...Sleep, eat, drink, dance, shower.
Fergus: Probably go and see a show.
Colin: Probably go and see a show...

If the Edinburgh fairy could grant your wish, what would your wish for?

Fergus: Not to get into so much debt that we never come back. Oh and tentacles.

What advice do you have for first time Edinburgh punters?

Colin: Beware of fool's gold.
Fergus: Seriously, I've never been. There's plenty of people who've been before, surely it's better to ask them than a newcomer who looks about twelve.
