Meet the Froglets
Froglets Ziff, Pipp and Button learn and play in a world of magic found in the everyday. This brand new CBeebies programme is the ultimate slow watch for fans of stop-motion and gentle mayhem.

What is Froglets about?
For the Froglets, the human world is a giant playground full of everyday challenges and wonders that spark an urge to adapt, get creative, play and have lots of fun along the way. Aimed at toddlers and pre-school children, Froglets is a cosy show that promotes mindful screen-time and encourages creative solution finding. Everyday items are repurposed as fantastical toys and games, with the focus away from social media and towards tactile imaginative play
As the Froglets get up to their adventures, Sue Perkins narrates as they build worlds from pegs, balloons and baubles. Through their adventures, our Froggie friends hope to inspire young children with their heart-warming mission – opening up a world of imaginative play and in doing so, helping them to rediscover the magic that can be found in the everyday.

Who are the Froglets?
When the kids are away the Froglets come out to play!
The knitted trio of Froggie friends, Ziff, Pipp, and Button, work together and have tiny adventures inside a regular home... Without the family knowing about them! The secretive little frogs spend the day playing, but must clean up before the family return.

Meet Ziff
Mini tornado Ziff is full of energy and loves exploring especially with best friends and fellow Froglets Pipp and Button. A typical happy-go- lucky guy, Ziff is the bravest (and nosier) of the group, always first to try anything new, which sometimes makes for more than a few mishaps in the house. Luckily just like his two friends, Ziff is great at tidying up so whatever the mess, a pristine room is only a hop, skip and jump away! And when Ziff's not leaping around what’s his favourite pastime? Relaxing with a bowl of Froggie pasta, of course, whilst slouching on a nest of "human-sized" noodles!
How to recognise Ziff: He is bright green, with dark brown eyes.
Likes: Froggie pasta
Hates: Washing his face - it makes him go all soggy!

Meet Pipp
Pipp is the tallest of the three, and although she comes across as the more thoughtful, she’s by no means the quietest! A lover of music, dancing and fitness, Pipp always seems to find a way to enjoy every single minute of the day. If there’s a song to be sung, she’s always first in line, bursting to show everyone her new Froggie acrobatic dance or gymnastics moves. So, as Ziff and Button know, if they’re ever feeling a little bit sad, they can rely on Pipp to help them literally get back into the groove.
How to recognise Button: She's knitted with dark green yarn and she has yellow eyes.
Likes: Froggie disco dancing
Hates: Going to bed - just one more song please!

Meet Button
Button is a little bit clumsy but always up for a laugh. He loves to spend his time drawing, painting and crafting and hates to see anything go to waste in the house, often turning things he finds into art - be it a pile of old messy string left in the kitchen, or some crayon stumps! He’s just a bit too impulsive and often doesn’t think things through, ending up in trouble. But his friends Ziff and Pipp are there to help him out!
How to recognise Button: He is made with green-grey yarn, with bright blue eyes.
Likes: Crayons, especially orange ones.
Hates: Pipp tickling him!

Play the Froglets jigsaw
The Froglets are having fun around the house! Can you put the jigsaw pieces together to match the pictures?
Activity idea
If your little one is a fan of Froglets, you can try to engage their imagination with objects found at home. Playing pretend with everyday items is a good way to break up screen-time. While watching the programme, have an assortment of items by your child that they can experiment with under your watchful eye. Everyday things such as:
a spoon
a peg
an empty bottle
a rubber band
a greetings card
... or whatever you have handy! You can ask your child how they think the Froglets might use the item.
Let your child lead and explore the item in their own time. This is a great way to engage your child's imagination and help them see items in a new way.
Check out CBeebies Parenting for more resources on how to make the everyday magical for your child. There's so many activities and crafts you can do with your little one with items from around the house.
