CBeebies is going to be celebrating Diwali

Diwali is celebrated each year between October and November, but the exact date varies each year as the Hindu calendar is based on the Moon.

  • How do they celebrate Diwali? How long do Diwali celebrations go on for?

  • Do they create rangolis on the floor they could show us? Do they light diyas?

  • Do they receive presents, visit their place of worship or eat sweets like Jalebi and Gulab Jamun?
