Junior Vets On Call game

Can you find the animals and provide the vital treatment they need? From herding cats to caring for a lioness, it's all in a day's work for a junior vet.

Junior Vets on Call is a free online game in which you play a junior vet as they do their rounds, looking after all creatures great and small along the way!

After choosing which vet you'd like to be, you'll be whisked away to a beautiful rural landscape filled with exciting mini-games. All you've got to do is move your vet over to the mini-game you'd like to try.

You'll need to complete the simpler ones on your doorstep first to unlock the more exotic ones further afield.

Here are a few of the fun mini-games on offer:

🚜 Farmer's Field – round up farmyard animals in a field, before checking them in a holding pen and treating any that need medicine

🐩 Pet Show – find and treat the prize-winning contestants at a pet show in the right order

🐴 Horse Clinic – guide a horse into the riding arena, then give the poorly pony whatever it needs to make it feel better

🦁 Lion Pride – drive a 4x4 through the lion enclosure to pick up an injured lioness and take it away for treatment while dodging the other residents

🐘 Elephant Parade – locate all the elephants in the different enclosures and bring them back to the treatment pen

Junior Vets is a classic CBBC reality TV show following six kids as they work alongside top vets at the University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Each episode, the recruits were put through their paces treating poorly pets, wounded wildlife and sick farm animals, all competing to be crowned head vet at the end of the series.

The spin-off Junior Vets on Call also aired on CBBC and gave us a chance to watch kids visiting a range of zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, re-homing practices and of course vets. Their mission? To help some familiar and not-so-familiar animals survive and thrive.
