In this fast-paced platform game, you play the cheekiest Gumble of them all, Tink. He's bravely decided to race through the junkyard, home of the dreaded Bottersnikes.

It couldn't be easier to play – you just need a mouse with a button, or a keyboard with a space bar. That's it!

Click the mouse, or tap the space bar, to jump.

Click and hold the mouse, or tap and hold the space bar, to stretch upwards before jumping.

Click and hold the mouse, or tap and hold the space bar, while in the air to glide gently down to the ground.

Collect the Gumbles' favourite food, grubs, or valuable scrap on your travels and you'll soon be able to do some really exciting stuff. That's because you can swap them between gumble runs for a range of inventions, power-ups and bonuses, including the following.

At the start of each gumble run, Tink is given a list of achievements to aim for, like collecting 100 grubs, gliding 30 metres, travelling 500 metres, rescuing Bounce the Gumble, avoiding Gubbo the Snike, and more.

If you can help Tink complete them all, he'll level up. This is important because he can only access the very best inventions and power-ups after reaching the higher ranks!

Bottersnikes & Gumbles is the name of a hit TV show based on a much-loved series of classic children's books by Australian author SA Wakefield and illustrator Desmond Digby. It's set in the Australian outback and tells the story of the energetic and happy-go-lucky Gumbles who are always getting into trouble with their neighbours, the lazy and mean-spirited Bottersnikes.

Bottersnikes, or Snikes for short, live in a smelly junkyard and love nothing better than catching Gumbles and forcing them to go down the mine to collect their favourite food – mouldy mattress stuffing. Yuck!

For their part, Gumbles adore rough-and-tumble play in the great outdoors. Especially if it involves outwitting the Bottersnikes on so-called gumble runs through the junkyard.
