Wrest Park House and Gardens

The house at Wrest Park is a 19th-century mansion in the style of a French chateau, but its grand gardens are its real glory. Together, they tell a story of 300 years of garden design – and they’re a great place for a fantastic day out.

You can also visit the unfurnished but opulently decorated state rooms inside the mansion. The spacious café within the Walled Garden offers locally sourced produce, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the children’s play area.

Free entry for badge holders

Wrest Park House and Gardens is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.
