Q: A potted history…I was conceived in Malta, born and bred In Lincoln, went to University in Canterbury, and met my Girlfriend at a speed dating evening when the idea was still very much in its conceptual phase. I developed a keen interest in food and travel from an early age. Q: What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you? (on or off the air – your choice)Got my right knee stuck in railings at Shrewsbury train station aged 16, missing that day's last connecting train to Bangor, our holiday destination! Q: What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?Pot washer at an establishment called ‘Sam & Ellas’. Q: Do you have a catchphrase?Oh, if you’re making one… Q: What was the first record you ever bought?Adam and the Ants – Kings of the Wild Frontier. ( It still holds up today). Q: What’s your favourite food?Fruit de mare. Q: When Hollywood comes calling, who’ll play you?As a child I was a big fan of anything by Oliver Postgate, Bagpus, The Clangers, Ivor the Engine etc. So a biography would have to be a cartoon. Q: In a fire, what would you rescue first (what, not WHO)?The 2005 Ashes series on DVD. 10) What do you do to relax?Play tennis with someone almost as good as me.
