So after one of the greatest finals in the history of finals, the winner of The Voice UK series 2 is Andrea!

Huge congratulations to Andrea, who must now be referred to as “The Voice” if you bump into her in the supermarket.

Andrea bagged the victory with gobsmacking performances of 'My Immortal' and 'Angel' and her duet with coach Danny.

A huge amount of love and bigups to Leah, Mike and Matt who put up an incredible fight in the final. If this is the last we’ve heard of any of them, we’ll eat will.i.am’s keytar.

Their performances are available to download in all good download shops.

High-fives must also go to our superstar coaches, whose version of ‘Get Lucky’ was all that and a bag of bananas; as were the musical offerings of Mr Buble, and Robbie Williams n’ Dizzie (and their awesome scooters).

So now we must go, walk out the door, not turn around now; we’re not on BBC One any more (until next year).

So there we have it, the semi-final is over. And what an unbelievable feast of vocals, drama, shocks and breakdancing it was.

First and foremost, let’s shed a tear and wave goodbye to four tremendous artists: Ash,  Karl,  Cleo, and Joseph. If that’s the last we’ve heard of them, we’ll eat will’s spray-can.

Naturally, you’ll be wanting to watch tonight’s performances again – you’re only human. Here they are…

This week, each team will be performing with their coach – we’ve seen rehearsals and they’re sounding crazy good. Not only that but our final 8 will be singing together. This weekend, the tensest and emotional...est stage of the competition so far takes place: The Knockout Weekend! Since it’s all-new, we thought we’d give you a handy insider’s guide about what to expect when it all begins this Saturday at 8.30pm.

1) The final 12 will be chosen

Each coach must whittle their team of seven down to just THREE so, by Sunday, we will have the line-up who will be performing in this year’s Live Shows. Exciting!

2) Four artists will make it through without even having to sing!

Before any artist sings, each coach will choose an artist from their team that they believe deserves a fast pass through to the Live Shows before they even sing (don't worry, you will still hear them sing!). The other six artists will have to perform in two teams of three and only one from each three will be chosen. The coaches have some difficult decisions to make – will your favourite make it through?

3) Things will get emotional

The pressure, the stress, the moving performances – at one point or another we think EVERYONE is in tears during the Knockouts. Make sure you get a box of tissues because there won’t be a dry eye in the house.

We’re going to put the balloons and sausage rolls out for our Knockouts viewing party – we’ll see you this Saturday at 8.30pm and Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.

This. Is. It. It's the final, the finale, the denouement, the end. This Saturday (7.20pm BBC One) one of our phwoar-some foursome will be crowned THE VOICE UK. Not only that but MAROON 5 and ED SHEERAN will be performing their latest singles AND our coaches will each be duetting with their artists for the first time! It's gonna be a helluva final and our artists will need some killer song choices to clinch the title.

Hi all! Reggie here...

Thought I’d take a five minute sun break to write a quick blog because in FIVE DAYS TIME, one of our finalists lives will be changed forever when they become The Voice UK. I can’t believe how quickly the series has gone – seems like only yesterday Mr i.am introduced the word ‘dope’ into our vocabulary and Sir Tom dropped his first name. Ahhhh, memories...

Anyway, our finalists will soon have to adjust to a new life so they’ll need all the support and advice they can get. And who better to give some wise words about the music business than pop royalty, Cheryl and Kylie? They’ve been there and done that so what they don’t know about this biz that we call show ain’t worth knowing. And they were more than happy to share a few pearls of pop wisdom when they were in the studio this weekend.

So, grab a pen and paper and take notes. The lesson begins now...

Semi-finals! Semi finals! Did we mention that it’s the semi-finals? Wow, what a show…

The final eight polished their weapons (or voices, whatever) to fight for a place in the finals and Will briefly waved his Olympic torch at everyone. With one act from each team definitely leaving, the semi-finalists went hard to avoid going home.

First up was one-woman-choir Ruth Brown. She sang ‘The Voice Within’, on The Voice, and her voice rattled the ceiling. An emotional performance, Ruth shed her soul and some tears. We may have got a little choked up too (but don’t tell anyone).

Vince Kidd ditched his trademark tie-die for an all-black ensemble but he flaunted his trademark soul singing ‘Back To Black’.

Max Milner looked every inch the front man as he sung The Police classic, ‘Every Breath You Take’. He made it look as easy and natural as breathing itself and at one point, Danny looked genuinely love-struck. Awww.

Jaz invited his children’s choir to sing ‘Let It Be’ with him. It was a sermon of soul and made us feel all warm inside. Shazam!

Leanne Mitchell looked pretty in pink and tackled a Whitney song without of a trace of fear. What a woman. She hit every note in existence and had the coaches on their feet. Job well done Leanne!

Becky Hill looked elegant and looked a star singing er, ‘Like A Star’. A pleasant surprise from the little pocket rocket, she proved her versatility and impressed all of the coaches.

Bo Bruce twirled around in ticker tape and tickled our eardrums with her cashmere voice. Singing ‘Charlie Brown’ she stepped things up a gear and smashed it. Bo selecta! What? If Jessie can say it…

Tyler James avoided getting tossed into a salad of ballads and took an almighty risk by singing ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. He can pull off wearing pink and he can pull off a Queen song. Amazing.

And to top everything off, Cheryl treated us to a world premiere performance of her new single ‘Call My Name’. Her dive into the throng of dancers, her moves… Just everything was WOWEE.

Phew! We’ll be twiddling our fingers (i.e. watching the performances over and over again) until tomorrow’s results show.

So, we haven’t got much to announce this week apart from well, you know, CHERYL AND KYLIE ARE PERFORMING.

The two songbirds will each be taking to The Voice stage and flaunting their world-famous talents for all to see. It’s gonna be a pop explosion, a pop-fest. *pulls party popper* If you can’t tell, I’m quite exited.

But even more exciting, I can reveal the songs our eight semi-finalists. With the finals on the line this lot are going to pulling out all the stops to secure their place.
