It’s all been happening in those #BackstageBattles, dontcha know! We’ve had challenges and forfeits all over the shop of the marshmallow and lip-sync variety, boo-yaaa!

So whatever next? Once upon a time, Chief Ricky and his Kaisers took on a very special challenge: how many chicken nuggets can a human man eat in one sitting? #TeamRicky managed F-O-U-R-T-Y (whaaattt? are they really human?!), then challenged Marvin to try to beat that record! See just how our fair-feathered-Humes did.. did he ‘crack’ up, or did #TeamMarvin finally come out of his shell? Find out below!

It’s Marvin vs Ricky as the #BackstageBattles heat up!

Boys will be boys! Marvin takes on the #BackstageBattles marshmallow challenge whilst singing to a will.i.am song, with sweeeeet results! HOWEVER... when challenged by Marvin to beat his mallow-tastic feat, ole’ blue eyes Ricky declines his dare, and is left to perform a hip-hoppity lip-sync forfeit to tune of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. DOPE!

Did #TeamMarvin beat #TeamEmma’s effort? And who did a better lip-sync performance, #TeamRita or #TeamRicky? (Or, was it #TeamWill for you?) Tell us who’s got your love in the comments below!

Will’s lip sync challenge

In celebration of the Battles, we’ve been hosting our very own EXCLUSIVE #BackstageBattles with the presenters and coaches, DOPE! We’ve already seen our digital missus Angela Scanlon show us the ropes with her marshmallow challenge, followed by #TeamEmma vs #TeamRita in a mouthful of a challenge.

So, here’s where we’re at: Rita lost against Emma, so she lip-synced to will.i.am’s track Scream and Shout... And as a forfeit to challenges and forfeits, this now means that Will has to lip sync to her (and Iggy Azalea’s) track Black Widow.

And once again, there’s a wee bit of help from Dodge T Dog (from CBBC’s Hacker and Dodge: Barkstage at The Voice) and here it is, in all it’s barking glory. (Woof!) Take it away, Will!

It’s Rita vs Emma, and they mean business

As the Battles approach, it’s Emma Willis vs Rita Ora in the #BackstageBattles Voice UK marshmallow challenge!

Our lovely host and lovely coach have been tasked with a face-off (geddit!) of who can put the most marshmallows into their mouths whilst singing a coach song of their choice, good times! (Please note, these girls are very experienced at these stunts, so don’t try this at home. Or, anywhere really, there’s a lot of sugar in them there ‘mallows.)

Now then, what about the forfeit? The loser of this #BackstageBattle must now lip sync to a new coach song of their choice. Take it away, Miss…. (ha! and you thought we’d tell ya here? No way, gotta watch our clips to find out people!)

Ok, so if you skipped the clip and came straight to this bit, Rita’s forfeit was to lip sync to a Mr.i.am classic with Britney Spears! However, our lovely Rita has a little help from our furry friend Dodge the Dog, from sidekick show CBBC’s Hacker and Dodge: Barkstage at The Voice.) MAJOR!

Thats right, Angela will explain the reeeaaal important Battles ahead, OUR #BackstageBattles! And to kick things off she’ll demonstrate by taking on the Voice UK Marshmallow Challenge...(Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, marshmallows!). That’s right folks, what better way to celebrate the next few weekends of Battles than to host our very own alternative #BackstageBattles!

But what does this mean!? Are the coaches and presenters actually going to Battle? Well kinda, yeah! Over the next two weeks you’ll see some of them paired up with each other in some err, very highbrow and serious challenges! And if anyone lost or refused a challenge they had to perform a forfeit, YAY for forfeits!
