We all remember the incredible effort John went to for Sport Relief a couple of weeks ago when he travelled 300 miles from Paris to London by cycling, rowing and running. Several people joined him for a little jog on the UK leg of it including Comedy Dave, Frank Skinner and even me for a little bit.

I loved running with him and his brother even if it was only 6 miles. I saw the sights of Dartford and even trod in a dog turd. All in the name of charity.

John is a genuinely lovely guy and the nation fell in love with him that week as he raised a ridiculous amount for Sport Relief. To prove how nice he is, this is a card that I've just recieved from him:

I went to an art gallery yesterday on the bank of The Thames just to get a little top up of culture - and because it was raining.

I really enjoyed it but there was one section of it that was just potatoes in shoes:

I couldn't even pretend to like this bit. I could only see potatoes in shoes. What does it even symbolise? Also there was a rowing boat made out of sculptures of man's parts. I didn't know what to think of that bit either. However, if I was asked to do an exhibit, I do feel like this is pretty much what I'd do. Potatoes in shoes and sculptures of genitals. Art.
