I had a lovely time. It included a very chilled out Friday night at my mates house playing 'Ashes Cricket' on his generic games console, then an amazingly hot day of relaxing at Hyde Park on Sunday, then a day of being a proper man. Yesterday, I hired a van. I cleared out my entire little terrace thing. About 50 trips up and down the stairs I think - concrete plant pots smashed up, trellis, bags and bags of soil, weeds, bushes. It was hell. Looks good though.

The next delightful task was going through 'security screening' at the rubbish dump. I never knew it was such an event. I imagine it's what it would be like to enter Buckingham Palace. Just with a few less bags of compost. I had to pre-register my van, take 3 forms of ID, wear a high-visibility jacket and then join the queue with London's binmen because my van was 'oversize'. It was amazing, chatting to the lads as I was chucking bits of trellis and my Christmas tree on the pile.

In any case, I saw this too. Is it OK to give your dog a visor?

Yesterday, I noticed how Natalie Jamieson from 'The Big 5' on Fearne's show has an odd way of saying 'hello' to Fearne everyday. She does an amazing 'Heeeeeeewoooo' instead. To celebrate this, I decided to try and get 'hewwo' as a trending topic on Twitter. Thanks to all your efforts, WE DID IT:

Little things, eh...

I popped down to a secret studio the other day to record my bit for the Radio 1 Big Weekend TV advert...

It was rather exciting. I was greeted by this set and some lovely extras...All will be revealed in the next couple of weeks...

Had a flipping lovely week off. Didn't get married in Vegas to a stripper but I did manage to lose $100 in 10 minutes on a Roulette wheel so decided to quit while I was very much behind.

Vegas is a mad place. It's brilliantly hideous. Bright, loud, debauched - perfect. My health challenge for the magazine took a turn for the worse last week. Vegas is the worst place in the world to be healthy - back on it this week though - the challange is almost done...Phew.

The clubs in Vegas are over the top and straight out of one of my favourite TV shows 'Entourage'.

If you smile sweetly at a stewardess, you can achieve great things. I should have recieved a small bag of pretzels. But LOOK! A PLATE!

The holiday in brief then...I got a bit addicted to frozen margheritas, a man on the street who could rap anyone's name instantly and American TV. I almost created a security alert with an apple at the airport on the way there and want to find out why people check in bags and then don't get on the plane. Oh and American girls really do love a British accent.

Good morning all, It's been a busy old time. All change on the show too - having a lovely time with my all girl team. Laura's fig rolls are now a staple diet of the team. That isn't a euphemism.

Annnnd, don't worry, Producer Neil fans, he is alive and very well. In fact, saw him last night for a frothy bevvy and he's on excellent form working on 'special BBC projects'. 

What other news then? Spring has sprung, I bought some new pants yesterday and I'm off on holiday next week. VEGAS BABY! Anyone been? I genuinely think it's going to be like The Hangover. Is it? I love that film and want to be mates with Bradley Cooper. 

Reggie will be looking after things for me next week, so please welcome him along with open arms.
