...In that order.

Good day to you all! Lovely weekend just gone by. Loads more training for my Men's Health 6 pack challenge. I'm up against Reggie Yates and I saw him at the weekend. He's pretty stacked. I panicked, went home and ate this:

Did a spot of DJing in Oxford on Saturday night after seeing Editors at the Albert Hall beforehand. Had a nice catch up with Edith down there as well. That is one underrated band right there. Maaaaaan they can play. They do have a problem though...Too many songs they could finish with. Ended with Fingers In Factories. KEEP WITH ME.

Here's Albert's Hall:

Also, how about this guy? Spotted him on the cricket coverage at the weekend:

And finally...

Went to a pub quiz last night - massively failed at it. However, I seemed to be the only one in the whole pub who knew who presented old gameshow 'Fifteen to One'. It was of course William G Stewart:

Brilliant night last night at a chairty gig featuring Biffy Clyro. They are a PROPER band. The noise they make is insane, it's full-on, frantic and VERY LOUD. LOUD NOISES. I love them a lot - it was odd to see them in such a reserved and 'royal' setting (The Royal Albert Hall) but what a night. They absolutely nailed that Matt Cardle song, too.

Here are two blokes who seemed to film the whole gig. Yeaaaah, that's going to be worth watching when they get home:

Phil and Grant? The one on the left isn't even watching.

I got home and my neighbours had left their rubbish outside their front door. I love it when they do that - the smell is so nice. Yummm, bin gas.

So much went on last week during this incredible achievement. Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave successfully completed 52 continuous hours on air. It was a total joy to watch and listen to and I was very lucky to be a part of it. Brilliant guests, lots of stupidity and a little bit of nudity. Apologies for that.

Relive the whole thing HERE.

I didn't mind getting my bits out at all because it raised a lot of money.

Here are a few behind the scenes bits that you may find interesting.

At the top of the BT Tower about to put Chris' face on the display screens:

The trucks outside Radio 1 broadcasting all the red button stuff. Home of the wonderfully talented nerds for 50 hours. Without them, this whole thing would have been nothing.

Fearne in a swimsuit as we had just come off air:

The camera giving a brilliant wide shot of the Tower with Chris' face on:

Quality gig last night at Hammersmith Apollo. Absolutely sold out Wombats show. I've not seen a crowd so up for a gig for ages actually. From front to back (which is rare) the whole place was bouncing more than a well endowed lady holding some jelly on a trampet.

They make an amazing noise. No messing with this lot, they're brilliant at what they do and have got great songs. The new stuff I think sounds even stronger than the first album...Discuss...

My mates are BIG football fans and I think I'm what you'd call a 'casual' supporter. I know what's going on but I don't sit on my phone all weekend refreshing the results every 5 minutes. I'm more of a cricket man.

Today, something big happened. I was included on a piece of 'email football banter'. I am an Arsenal fan, let me say that right now.

Use this wisely. Maybe next time you're stuck with a football fan and you have nothing to say. Just make sure they don't support Arsenal.

Here is the email banter:

The dilemma

A guy called Adam emailed me saying he has been listening to me for a few years but hasn't wanted to find out what I look like because he's built up an image of me in his head. The beauty of radio, isn't it, I suppose.

However, I wanted to put him to the test. He reckons I'm like a younger version of legendary comedian John Cleese, famous for Fawlty Towers and Monty Python.

I sent him an email with these three pictures...Which person will he choose?

Boyzone...

I treated my sister and her best mate to a special night out at Boyzone last night. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of them but it was a really fun show. And the hits...well...you can't argue with the hits.

Ronan is still king. That guy sold 22 million albums. Not to be sneered at. I hate music snobs and you have to appreciate that this lot have been around for years and a lot of people still love them.

Including my big sis. Big time:

Ricky Gervais was on my show yesterday. Listen again to the joy here.

So then, he talked candidly about the Golden Globes:

Hello lovely people! I haven't done this in a while...

Hope all is well with you - it's a busy old time, which is obviously wonderful and I wouldn't change it for the world. I met someone this week who did nothing but moan about being busy. That sort of person is the worst. Took part in David Walliams' Comic Relief challenge on Saturday along with my Radio 1 chums Matt Edmondson and Tom Deacon. It was a delight. Stressful at times, but a little dream fulfilled to present some live stuff from Television Centre. Iconic place.

On today's show, regular guest Ricky Gervais is back on at 1:30pm - it will be a delight as ever I'm sure. Also, Lacey Turner is on too talking about a rather exciting BBC Three show.

This is inside BBC TV Centre:

My sister sent me this. It's my little niece. Not sure why it's funny, but it kind of is. Panic buying.

And finally - this is my current desktop background. It's my best mates Will and Jack dressing up as old people:

Lady Gaga - the interview...

I am a lucky boy. I got to have Lady Gaga on my show yesterday live on the phone from her hotel room.

She told me she was wearing nothing but black underwear, I asked her about the rumour that she might be Elton's kid's Godmother, and that she had created a new race of people - or something like that. I kind of lost the thread of that particular bit of the conversation.

Listen to the interview HERE

She was lovely though and it was quite surreal to talk to her. I managed to give her a brand new idea for her next costume, and even tried to flog her a Midsomer Murders boxset.

Here she is looking all kooky in the Live Lounge:
