So it's done for another year. The bins are being emptied, the toilets hosed down and the stages dismantled. What an amazing weekend it was. There are loads of video highlights here so you can relive it all.
I am ruined right now - it took me 5 hours to get back to London to do the show yesterday afternoon and I feel a bit lost after being in such a brilliant place. It's the feeling you get after a big night out - you don't want it to end and you kind of want it to start all over again.
I want to go back though next year but will be worried the weather won't be any good!
A few final shots:
This perfectly sums up the end of Glastonbury. Someone's wacky shades stamped into the drying mud.

And I met these lovely Radio 1 listeners whilst out and about:
Up at a more respectable hour this morning so had about 5ish hours of sleep.
Totally amazing night last night. Maximo Park, a little bit of Kasabian and A LOT of Pendulum. They were so good:

The crowd on The Other Stage:

It was then on to 'Trash City' - basically the freaks all come out there and there's a club which is a giant pinball machine. I know how 'hilariously random' yar yar yar etc...Here's me with one of said freaks:

And saw this weird fire breathing thing. Don't remember much about Trash City really. Very tired by then.

What a day. Just before I go mental to Pendulum, here are a couple of snaps.
I gave in to the Maximo in the end. Predictably.
Kasabian are just finishing up behind me. I am a Glastonbury convert. I can understand why people like Jo Whiley come back year after year. If I didn't come back, I would feel like I would be missing out.

Me wet wiping my underarms. Form an orderly queue ladies...and yes, I know, my glasses are awesome.

And finally...People queuing for a dump:

...Chappers and Dave. As much as I love them both, they are not the most welcome voices to hear at 7.30am after a rough night's sleep in a tent after going to sleep at 3.
This place is so good though and in a way, you don't want to waste time sleeping through it.
Was up early then and was set a challenge to find a live act to do an inpromptu Live Lounge for us. It didn't happen as no one was up early except people picking up litter and mums and dads with little kids.
No one here. Too early:

Me in some weird dug out in the ground at the healing fields. It was called "The Earth":

Wasn't sure whether to go and get St. John's Ambulance service for this chap:

Don't forget this
little beauty for mini updates from 'the farm'.
Well, I didnt know what to expect but this place is totally surreal. So massive and almost too much going on. A few bits I've seen today/tonight:
Lady Gaga and her undercarriage (she wasn't wearing undercrackers)
The Streets
Annie Mac's Mash Up on the BBC Introducing Stage
Friendly Fires
and Lily Allen, who I saw backstage too looking lovely.
and I only got here at 6. Great day but totally shattered as haven't really slept since my show this morning.
Time to cuddle up in the tent with my boss now. Oh joy.
I didn't know what to expect from this place but so far it is mind blowing. Too much mud though.
I'm on air all weekend on every show starting at 7:45pm with Chappers and Dave. Going to try and find my tent now and get a bit of sleep before the sun wakes me up.
Here's me and Annie, obviously:

Not without problems though of course. Self inflicted mind you. I packed absolutely everything, or so I thought. Except my ticket. Idiot. Anyway, luckily, I got in after much persuasion.
I'm sitting in the BBC compound with my snazzy new wellies on. They've got painted raindrops on them, if you care.
Already seen Annie Mac, Grimmy and Reggie on site and just watched the amazing Friendly Fires on The Other Stage.
All I have to do now if try and locate various mates who are dotted around the festival. This could prove to be very difficult as the phone reception is rubbish at best.
I found a place to sleep though. Jo's options of a transvestite and a tree house weren't the best, and the only place to stay tonight is sharing a tent with my boss Piers. Oh well. At least it's on site and will be dry. But if he starts talking about audience research and how to develop the show - I'm off.
Friendly Fires on The Other Stage:

Just tralling through my emails and found this from the organiser of Windsor races that I was at last week. It's a photo of me judging the best looking horse (ridiculous, I know). What you might also notice is that there is a very famous man standing to the right of me looking very orange. Yes, F1 legend, Eddie Jordan. He was judging it with me. Very weird evening.

The brilliant Florence and her lovely machine were in Jo's Live Lounge today. I'm a little taken with her to be honest and I absolutely love her new album which I've been lucky enough to hear (out on July 7th). I bumped into her outside R1 and she's very lovely.
Listen to her performance here.
I was sitting at home eating cheese on toast yesterday watching the tennis and I decided to be all spontaneous and actually go to Wimbledon for the afternoon. I had nothing else on, so called a mate and we went and queued up for about 2 and a half hours to sit on 'Murray Mount' and it was a brilliant afternoon. An amazing place and full of beautiful people too.
I went to the Wimbledon shop and bought a programme and a tube of official Wimbledon tennis balls...

My beloved producer with his feet up, and me playing air piano. This is why the show has got record listening figures.
I spotted this yesterday. I know it means don't smoke but why is it under a tree? And why is it so massive?
Thoughts?

After a couple of failed attempts - I got to speak to our man up a mountain, Mark Beaumont. He is on a massive adventure for a new BBC1 show and he is cycling a climbing his way across the Americas.
Have a look at his excellent blog here.
He also promised that he'd send a photo of him relaxing in his 2 star motel room after he climbs down again...
So, 17 hours later, I'm back in my flat in London! What a fun time that was in Stoke. A great night, met loads of lovely people, sang a little song and did my show from BBC Radio Stoke this morning (I think). I may have to listen back later to check it actually happened...
Sleep now. Mess.
This is a
live webcam of Chris and the team in unknown surroundings:
It was The Chris Moyles Karaoke night in Stoke-On-Trent last night - a very fun night and the crowd were amazing - particular highlight for me being Comedy Dave's stage dive during the team's final number - Angels by local boy, Robbie Williams. I went out front to get this shot:

Stroke-On-Trent:

I got up and sang with the band which I loved possibly a bit too much:

A brilliant night, met some lovely people and Stoke was well and truly rocked. Have a look at all the other 'snaps' here.
Just been out on the town 'havin it large' for my mum's 101st birthday. She loves being brought to London and spoilt by me and my sister. Really great evening, loads of nice food, catching up, a little bit of champagne and a long walk by the river. Without doubt my favourite part of London.
I also couldn't resist taking a photo of this bridge from the opening titles of The Apprentice. I am obsessed with this show. I was singing the opening music loudly as I was walking too.
If you have Spotify, click
here to hear the theme tune!
Here's Tulip from Newsbeat at the opening of her (kind of) new radio station!

She recorded a lovely couple of messages for me when she came in to see Chris. Amazing moment. Even if she was reading them.

Have a lovely weekend
I spoke to Mark Beaumont earlier who is on an amazing voyage cycling across the Americas. He has left his bike at the foot of Mount Mckinley and is climbing that now.
I spoke to him this morning and there were a few technical problems, which is understandable as he was 14,000ft up a mountain!
He sounded a little out of breath, which again, is understandable but is doing really well and must be seeing some superb sights.
Keep up to date with his progress here.
Look at this video from when I visited a forensic science lab to see how drugs are tested. Not like that, I hasten to add. It's very interesting, even if I do say so myself.
THE VIDEO
Loads of help, advice and information here too if you or someone you know is affected by drugs.
This morning on the big show, I'm going to speak to Newsbeat's Jonathan Blake in New York who has been to the Tony Awards.
Here he is on the red carpet in a very smart jacket and an awful shirt:

This is taken from Wednesday's Apprentice - just watching it on the iPlayer - and I was surprised to see this quite revealing shot of Yasmina as she got out of the shower. Not only is there a lot of boob on show, the cameraman chose an odd time to start filming I think...
Just thought you'd like to see what he looks like in the flesh. His name is Peter Dickson AKA Voiceover Man and you'll know his voice - he is on EVERYTHING. Most famously these days for The X Factor (RHHHIIIIIDIAN! etc) and many many many other things. Including the ridiculous bits on Paul O Grady that say "coming up next, Will Young, Chris Moyles aaaaaand, Paul rides a kangaroooooo!" for example. Not sure if that episode has happened or not...
Anyway, here he is!

I caught up with Mark Beaumont who is cycling from the top of the Americas to the bottom to create a fantastic BBC1 documentary and fulfil a lifelong dream. He is doing it all alone, and will take him 7 months to cover 15,000 miles.
Keep up to date with his progress 24 hours a day here and on the big show too as I chat to him to check his progress and make sure he's stayed puncture free...

This was sent in by eagle eyed viewer/listener Dr. Dave who spotted this on the homepage today.
Although it's currently 5:10am as I type this, don't worry, Jo Whiley isn't in early to prepare for her show and it's not me in a wig either - it is a malfunction. However, it did make me laugh.

correction:
This is Sara Cox and not Jo Whiley. Bad image quality, there. Anyway, it still stands neither of these lovely ladies have ever been in at 5am ever...And Sara even did the breakfast show...
