    &lt;p&gt;It’s exciting that someone somewhere has enough money to fund a private mission to Mars.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It’s no good waiting for governments to ever cough up enough again. So thank goodness for American billionaire &lt;a title="Mars Mission" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-21603490" target="_blank"&gt;Dennis Tito&lt;/a&gt; who reckons his Mars launch could happen within the next five years. He says it might be a great idea to put up a married couple into space as astronauts because they’re going to have to share that tiny, confined space, for up to 17 months - using the same (recycled) water, wearing the same clothes, eating minimal food etc.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sounds like marital hell.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But what a journey!&lt;/p&gt;
