Berkshire is home to one of the largest Urdu-speaking communities in the UK, so we're very excited to be linking up with the Urdu arm of the World Service for a series of special projects.
Mountain peaks in Pakistan
Do you live in Berkshire and speak Urdu? Well then we'd love to hear from you.
We've teamed up with the BBC World Service to look at light-hearted cultural differences between South Asians living in Berkshire and in their native countries, as well as probe more serious issues concerning religion and ways of life.
Can ex-pat cultures be worlds apart from their country of origin? What do Berkshire communities have in common with others across the globe? These are just some of the questions we'll be looking at.
Throughout the project we'll be featuring photos, videos, diaries and articles on Urdu communities both in Berkshire and beyond.
If you or your community centre would like to get involved, then fill in the online form with your full details.
