Rachel (Kuljit's dad's nurse) asks if he has contacted any support groups yet but Kuljit says he is better off doing things himself. What about family? Kuls says they all left when he was younger, he hasn't seen them for years. Rachel thinks Kuls did well looking after his dad at that age but his dad was better off in hospital back then. Kuls asks if she really thinks the consultants here are doing a better job.
It's the day of Nadia's meeting at the bank to find out if she can get a loan to buy the salon. Mr Gresham (the bank manager) is impressed with her business plans and apparent understanding of customer needs. Nadia is pleased that the meeting has started well.
Kamla is surprised that Rita has actually been shopping given her hangover. Rita points out you don't get hung-over from having two gins and tonics - you'd think she was an alcoholic the way Kamla is carrying on. And she could have done without Kamla sticking her nose in and making things worse with Pradeep too. Kamla says she is sorry to be such a pain. Not as sorry as I am says Rita...
Mushtaq turns up at Imran's place with Mani's medication. He forgot them in his hurry to leave the other day. Mushtaq wants to make amends with Mani but Imran awkwardly says that Mani doesn't want to see him. Mushtaq is hurt and then angry - he can't believe Mani is actually prepared to throw 30 years of friendship away like this...
