How to spot the difference in CE marks

On Monday 28 September's edition of Morning Live, we investigated the dangers of counterfeit squishy dumpling toys.
During the broadcast, Morning Live viewer Claire spotted that we had shown the incorrect logo during the report.
The images above show the difference between the two marks. On the left is the European CE mark, while on the right is the China Export mark, which was shown during the programme.
The key differences to look for are in the spacing between the letters and the shape of the E.
When checking a product, look closely at these details to help distinguish between the two marks.
