Katie Prescott, Technology Business Editor, The Times

Katie Prescott is Technology Business Editor at The Times and a weekly columnist for the newspaper’s award-winning business section. Katie brings readers the key stories across the fast-changing landscape of tech, media and telecoms. A regular on Times Radio, she is a familiar voice to millions of listeners after a decade reporting for the BBC and presenting the business news on Radio 4’s Today Programme.

At the BBC, Katie worked across all the corporation’s major news outlets on TV and radio, explaining and analysing the tumultuous changes wrought by COVID-19, the European debt crisis and new technology, in addition to the challenges of sustainability and climate change.

Nicole Castillo, VP Mobile Product, Newscorp

Nicole has spent over 10 years in product and technology roles in industries spanning telecommunications, real estate, and, most recently, media. In her current role as VP of Products at News Corp, she works with multiple global brands across our business - Dow Jones, New York Post, News Corporation Australia, and, of course, News UK.

In her current role she supports mobile products across the entire network and most recently is leading the efforts across News Corp around all things AI. She’s also a passionate supporter of our company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts (DEI) and in particular Women in Tech groups, working to bring the same global community and collaborative spirit that she brings to her product role for all the WIT groups in News Corp.

She also volunteers her time mentoring other women in pursuing product and technology careers. Lastly, she is a proud momma of two.She also lives and breaths her personal “Mary Poppins of Product” mantra, spreading humor and a little supercalifragilisticexpialidocious attitude into the product management field.

Laura Ellis - Head of Technology Forecasting, BBC

Laura is a technologist and journalist with a focus on emerging technology, machine learning, disinformation, and data. She has worked on news teams in radio, TV, and online and led two regional news and current affairs teams through significant technology change, establishing the BBC’s first end-to-end digital newsroom.

In her current role she focuses on ensuring the BBC is best placed to take advantage of emerging technology and takes a particular interest in ethics, personalised and automated journalism, machine learning and media provenance.

Angelica Stephenson - Senior Technical Product Manager, Beyond TV Experiences, TV Products

Angelica is a Senior Technical Product Manager creating AR-based experiences for Sky’s smart camera. A self-described "swiss-army-knife personified", Angelica has carved a career as a technology generalist in roles spanning Australia and the United Kingdom. In her playful-yet-disciplined style, over the years she has grown from software developer to a leader of teams delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to an intrapreneur assessing, evangelising and cultivating tech innovation initiatives for the media industry.

She is also the co-founder and former chair of Sky's Digital Ethics Network, an employee network with a mission to bring ethical thinking and design to the use of data and technology. Angelica's latest role is as a technical product manager on the smart camera for Sky Glass, leading a talented team of engineers and designers to create experiences for the TV like never before
