Prince Harry will spend four months training at Bovington Camp |
Prince Harry has begun the next stage of his Army career - armoured reconnaissance training. The 21-year-old has moved to Bovington Camp in Dorset to learn how to become a troop leader, according to a Ministry of Defence spokeswoman.
He will eventually command 11 soldiers and four Scimitar tanks.
The prince, who has joined the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals, will spend four-and-a-half months training as a "recce soldier".

His first three weeks at Bovington will focus on driving and maintenance training.
He will then spend six weeks learning about communications and the information systems in the vehicles, before moving to Lulworth for six weeks of gunnery training on live firing ranges.
The final part of the course is five weeks at Warminster, when Prince Harry will use all of his knowledge in armoured tactics training and take part in exercises commanding troops.
On completion of his training at the Armour Centre, he will be a qualified troop leader and will either return to his regiment in Windsor or be immediately deployed to a conflict zone.
