Buildings overspend reaches �7m
Taxpayers in Guernsey are being reassured work is underway to prevent more overspending on States projects.

It was revealed on Wednesday that four projects went over budget by more than �7m, with more than �19m in claims still outstanding.

The Public Accounts Committee has set up a working party on contracts and is working on systems to prevent more overspend in future.

St Sampson's Marina and the airport, are two of the projects affected.
