Our changing world
The graphs below show some of the changes our planet is undergoing, and what may happen in the future. Climate researchers acknowledge there are uncertainties and offer varying models to represent differing conditions.

The average global sea level could rise as shown because of increases in greenhouse gas emissions.
Carbon is being dumped into the atmosphere at an alarming rate. The graph shows a rapid climb during the last 40 years.
